Welcome Home Housing receives no funding from the Federal, State or County Goverments. We are dependent on the generosity of people who care about our cause and our people. Your donations make the difference.

Tax-deductible

Welcome Home Housing is a 501(c3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Tax-deductible donations of money, stocks and furniture are appreciated.

Fund raising programs

Vehicle Donation Program We have a tax deductible car/boat donation program. Consider donating your old car, truck, motorcycle, boat or RV running or wrecked to Welcome Home Housing. You get the tax deduction- we do the paperwork

The Walk for Mental Health
On the First Saturday of October at 9:30 am, WHH participates in the Walk for Mental Health which is held at the west steps of the State Capitol. Please consider forming a team and join us.

E-WASTE Recycle Event
Every March, we host an E-waste event in different parts of the Sacramento area. So don't throw away your old computers, TVs, laptops, cell phones etc. Save them for March and let us ecologically and safely dispose of them for you.

Personal Items

Several residents have asked for bikes for transportation. However, we cannot give a tax deduction for them because they will be the resident’s personal property.
